Disney and Pixar have released the latest trailer for their latest film ‘Soul’ and it shows the story of Joe Gardner, a jazz-loving teacher from New York who lost his life in an accident. His soul was transported to a bright space (believed to be heaven) but soon detoured to ‘The Great Before,’ a life before souls go to Earth.
Joe’s character is voiced by Jamie Foxx while 22, who becomes Joe’s guide to coming back to Earth, is voiced by actress Tina Fey.
The movie is directed by Pete Docter, also the man behind the movies ‘Inside Out’ and ‘Up’, and is co-directed by Kemp Powers, who is known for his work ‘One Night in Miami.’ ‘Soul’ was supposed to be shown last June but was postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
‘Soul’ is skipping cinemas and will be making its debut on the streaming service Disney+ on December 25. Disney+ subscribers are charged with no extra cost when ‘Soul’ arrives.
