While this year’s summer might be a little different from the years of past, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to get “quarantoned,” and looking the best version of yourself. Among the most popular target areas people want to improve on is the butt. It may be physically impossible for you to have a derriere like your favorite celebrity or fitness influencer, you CAN, however, improve its shape and perkiness. 

It may take some time for you to see results, but working your booty will certainly be worth it. Plus, who doesn’t like looking talikod-genic, right? Without further ado, here are some moves for you to get that bubble butt:

Walking lunges

You can go around the house while working on your glutes by doing walking lunges. You may look a little silly, but it’s a move that can tone your butt and tighten your thighs at the same time.

Curtsy lunges

Form is everything when it comes to curtsy lunges. Not only does this help with the shape of your butt and thighs, it also helps your overall balance. You can carry dumbbells if you’re looking for a bit of a challenge.

Basic squats

After all, there’s nothing like the classics, right? This basic exercise, when done right, can help sculpt your glutes. Just remember that it’s all about quality, not quantity, so you better make every squat you do count.

Sumo Squats

No, you don’t need to wrestle someone to do this move. A great lower-body exercise that targets your glutes and inner thighs, you can opt to carry weights to take this move to the next level.

Jump squats

This powerful, plyometric exercise might be a total killer, but it’s a sure fire way to tone your butt, and get a little bit of cardio as well. Just think of happy thoughts while you’re doing this move because it is really hard to do.

Single leg glute bridge

A great way to isolate you glutes and work your hamstrings (back of the upper leg) at once, this multi-purpose move also helps strengthens your core. It’s more difficult than basic glute bridges, but the extra effort will go a long way.

Fire hydrants with leg extensions

Yes, the name does sound a bit weird, but this is a fantastic move that targets multiple muscle groups, including the booty. You can do this with your body weight or you can ramp up the intensity with ankle weights or resistance bands. 

Bird dog 

Another workout move with a funny name, yes, but bird dogs work on your glutes and your abs at the same time. Who doesn’t want to have sculpted abs and a toned booty through, right?

Donkey kicks

This exercise targets not only your glutes and core, but it helps your lower back as well. It also helps with your stability, and it’s a therapeutic way to channel your frustrations by kicking it all out. 

Rainbows

No colorful equipment is required for this move. You simply need to mimic the shape of a rainbow with your leg in a controlled manner. Don’t forget to squeeze your butt to make this exercise effective.

Getting the booty of your dreams may prove to be a difficult task, but all the effort will have been worth it once you see results. It’s going to be a slow and steady process, but quitting won’t speed up getting that bubble butt. Just remember that as with everything else, you can have anything you want as long as you’re willing to work for it.
