We’re getting closer and closer to the long-awaited “Friends” reunion! Even though it’s been delayed a few times, the stars of the popular sitcom are finally going to start filming next month, according to David Schwimmer. “We figured out a way to film it safely, and there’s gonna be a portion of it that we film outside,” he said.
If you’re planning to re-watch the series before the reunion airs, here’s a perfect snack to go with your marathon, care of Serendipity: a “Friends”-themed ice cream!
Friends and coffee
The “Central Perk Coffee Almond Fudge” ice cream is one of the new flavors from Serendipity Brands in collaboration with Warner Bros. Inspired by the six friends’ favorite drink, this coffee-flavored ice cream is filled “with thick fudge swirl and dark chocolate covered almonds.”
“OH. MY. GAWD. It’s our newest flavor- Central Perk Coffee Almond Fudge. Grab 5 friends, 6 spoons and the nearest over-sized sofa. It’s go time,” the premium ice cream brand posted.
This Serendipity creation, which costs USD 7.99 each, comes in a violet-colored pint that shows the “Friends” logo and the iconic orange couch from Central Perk.
Aside from this flavor, Serendipity and Warner Bros.’ collaboration also brought to life other ice cream options such as the “Sloth & Chunk Rocky Rooooaad?” flavor, which is inspired by the adventure comedy film “The Goonies.” Like the Friends variant, this one’s also a coffee-flavored ice cream, but it’s got marshmallows and almonds instead of fudge and dark chocolate.
For more great news, these two flavors are not available for just a limited time—they will actually be part of Serendipity’s permanent ice cream line-up!
