Gordon Ramsay is set to be part of a new cooking competition series called “Next Level Chef.”
“‘Next Level Chef’ is a unique format that could only come from the delightfully brilliant culinary mind of Gordon Ramsay,” Rob Wade, the president of alternative entertainment and specials at Fox Entertainment, said. The cooking competition will be co-produced by Fox Alternative Entertainment with Studio Ramsay, Ramsay’s own multimedia production company.
Elite chefs Nyesha Arrington and Gino D’Acampo will join Ramsay on the show as judges and mentors to the line cooks, home chefs, social media stars, and food truck owners who will join the competition. Awaiting the winner is the grand prize of USD 250,000.
“We couldn’t be happier to bring Gordon, Nyesha, and Gino competing together on what is a new and innovative way into a cooking competition series,” Wade said.
Arrington, a famous chef and former “Top Chef” contestant, said that she’s “Super stoked and can’t wait to share more about it with you all!”
“This show touches on mentorship, mindset, and hard work so follow along our journey as we create a bold new cooking competition,” she added.
The set of the upcoming 2021-2022 season series will feature a cooking gauntlet on a stage that’s over three stories high. There will also be a unique kitchen on each floor and different ingredients to match the environment.
“This is the next evolution in cooking competitions. It’s big and it’s bold, and I can’t wait for people to see it,” Ramsay said.
