It seems “Game of Thrones” fans won’t have to wait too long for the release of “House of the Dragon” as photos from the set of the prequel to the hit HBO show leaked online.

Several photos of the cast and crew including the main stars of the show — Matt Smith and Emma D’Arcy — have surfaced online.

Smith will take on the role of Prince Daemon Targaryen. He is known for his portrayals in hit television shows such as “Doctor Who” and “The Crown.” D’Arcy, on the other hand, will play the role of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.

According to eagle-eyed fans, the photos were taken at Holywell Bay in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom near Newquay.

Last April 27,  photos of the cast memebrs of the show at a table reading session were released on the official social media platforms of the HBO original series.

Apart from Smith and D’Arcy, other stars present at the table read include Steve Toussaint (The Sea Snake), Rhys Ifans (Otto Hightower),and Olivia Cooke (Alicent Hightower).

The filming of the sequel comes nearly two years after the finale of “Game of Thrones” aired on television.

Based on George RR Martin’s 2018 novel Fire and Blood, the new HBO series is set 200 years before the events on “Game of Thrones” and will follow the story of the Targaryen family.

“House of the Dragon” is slated to be released in 2022 via HBO Max.
