The Book Development Association of the Philippines announced the second run of Aklatan, an online book sale featuring titles from several local publishers.
This all-Filipino fair will be held from September 25 to September 27, 2020, on Lazada. They are partnering with tons of well-loved book publishers, such as Komiket Inc., Anvil Publishing, Adarna House, and University of the Philippines Press just to name a few. Books will be sold at discounts ranging from 20% to 70%, so you’ll definitely want to check it out.
Aklatan’s first run, in which they sold discounted titles through Shopee, was just last August. It was a successful online book fair and hundreds of bookworms were happy with the Filipino books they scored at lowered prices.
