Time to schedule your movie dates, cinephiles!
After what is dubbed the “world’s longest cinema lockdown,” theaters and movie houses can finally breathe a sigh of relief as they are given the thumbs-up to reopen and welcome cinephiles once again.
Though the green light was given as early as October 16, not all cinemas chose to reopen immediately. Most took their time to prepare the premises to be compliant with minimum safety protocols, while also reminding the public that only fully-vaccinated moviegoers will be allowed inside theaters.Â
Now, we finally have a date — November 10. Here’s a running list of cinemas that will reopen on the date to help you relive the joy of watching movies outside of your house!
Specifically, the following Ayala Malls will resume their theater operations on November 10:
There’s no news yet on whether UP Town Center, Ayala Malls Feliz, Vertis North, Ayala Malls the 30th, Alabang Town Center, and Greenbelt will join the reopening as well.
Megaworld Cinemas that will reopen on November 10 include the following sites:
All 14 branches of Vista Cinemas are scheduled to reopen on November 10, including its Metro Manila locations in Taguig, Las Piñas, and Evia Lifestyle Center, as well as its provincial sites in NOMO and Daang Hari in Bacoor, General Trias, Tanza, Dasmariñas, Bataan, Iloilo, Pampanga, Sta. Rosa, and Malolos.
In addition, Starmall Cinemas, which is affiliated with Vista Malls, will also reopen its locations in Alabang and EDSA-Shaw.
This pertains to two Fisher Mall locations in Metro Manila, namely Fisher Mall Quezon Avenue and Fisher Mall Malabon.
