LOOK: the largest Starbucks branch opened in South Korea

If the caffeine can’t shake you awake, the astounding ambiance surely will.

In celebration of its 21st year in business, Starbucks opened its largest store last July 24 in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do, located in downtown Seoul in South Korea, right beside the magnificent Namhan River.

Standing three stories high and spanning over 1,200 square meters, the store boasts of being the first in Korea to have a Starbucks Reserve coffee bar, a Teavana bar, and a drive-thru format. The Yangpyeong store also has a community room, an amphitheater, as well as an accessible rooftop, perfect for hosting musical acts by Korea’s local talents.

The coffee house, which appears as a majestic glass enclosure, has walls awash with a bright cream hue and artworks made with traditional Korean fabric. Customers can lounge on their beige-toned bleachers and warm lights for a truly relaxing atmosphere. For their menu, the chief of the Category Food section explained that about 10 percent is an exclusive offering of the branch.
