As the country enters into eased quarantine restrictions, so do different transport sectors who can now ply metropolitan streets with much more allowance. With more public utility vehicles going back to business, Pasig takes part in yet another transport solution that meets the demands of both commuters and operators.

That solution is the new MyTODA, the first tricycle ride-hailing mobile application in the country which aims to assist tricycle drivers whom the pandemic has displaced.

The first fleet of tricycle drivers joined MyTODA’s executives and Pasig’s local government during the mobile app’s launch at the transport terminal of SM City East Ortigas last Tuesday.

Similar to other transport network vehicle service (TNVS) apps in the market, users can connect with registered tricycle drivers not only to book rides, but also to deliver goods, and even run grocery errands or pabili, similar to other ride-hailing apps in the market via the MyTODA app.

Although it’s only available to Pasig residents right now, MyTODA’s management hopes to expand their covered areas to Angono, Rizal, as well as to reach a deal with SM Supermalls in the future.

Want to know if MyTODA can reach your place? Check out their coverage areas on their website, or download the official MyTODA app from the Google Play Store.
