Publishers to look forward to in this year’s Manila International Online Book Fair

There are only a few days to go before this year’s Manila International Book Fair goes online. With that, you should already be eyeing the books you want to add to cart. While there are numerous exhibitors joining this year’s fair, we narrowed down some publishers for you to check out. The titles and genres they offer differ from one another so you’ll surely find something you like from these publishers no matter your taste in books. 

Adarna House, Inc.

Adarna House publishes educations material for children. From storybooks to board books, all of them showcases Filipino values, culture, history, and experiences for the growing Filipino child to learn from. 

National Book Store, Inc.

Since National Bookstore features both international and local titles, here’s where you can buy bestselling titles from international authors. From classics to new releases, National Book Store will be the publisher who is most likely to have them. In the previous MIBFs, National Book Store has the biggest space in the convention center.

Anvil Publishing, Inc.

For books old and new by local authors, Anvil Publishing has a wide range of titles for you to choose from. They have popularized Philippine literature and history throughout the years. The cover of their books is all so beautifully designed so you’ll also be tempted to buy a book just for this. 

PSICOM Publishing Inc.

If you’re looking for Wattpad books or easy to digest books in various genres by local authors, PSICOM has got your back. If you remember the True Philippines Ghost Stories you used to read with your classmates, you can get those from PSICOM as well. 

The Indie Publishers Collab PH 

The Indie Publishers Collab PH brings together independent literary book publishers to help them widen their readership. For books from independent presses in the Philippines, check out this publisher.  

Ateneo de Manila University Press

One university press that’ll be joining the MIBF is the publishing arm of the Ateneo. They provide scholarly titles in the humanities and social sciences. Their fiction and nonfiction selection are worth a look.
