Razer, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, is bringing back RazerCon, the digital celebration of all things gaming this year. The keynote event will be kicking off this October 15, 2022, with Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan delivering an exciting keynote filled with updates. The event’s hosts are OTK members Rich Campbell and Cyr.

Gamers will be able to watch RazerCon on Razer’s social media channels, such as Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube, so you have several options at your disposal. The pre-show starts at 9 AM PDT (Pacific Daylight Time), with the main event scheduled to run from 10 AM until around 4 PM.
What to expect from RazerCon 2022
The much-anticipated carbon-neutral event is setting the bar high for the gaming industry. Fans can expect an impressive production from Razer and its partners. Sponsored by Qualcomm and presented by Intel, Facebook Gaming, Twinkly, Verizon, and Displate, the live stream will feature exclusive news, a sneak peek to upcoming games, first-in-class entertainment, giveaways, and more.

Where it all started
Now in its third year, RazerCon was initially launched as a way for Razer to celebrate and give back to the gaming community. With the absence of physical events in 2020, they’ve found an innovative way to connect with the community.
Tan shares, “RazerCon is our annual flagship event for our fans and since its inception. It’s getting bigger with each passing year.”
Growing from strength to strength, Razer brought back RazerCon in 2021 and has transformed the way they interact with gamers, even setting a new standard for online events. RazerCon 2021 was the first ever gamers’ carbon neutral streaming event, with 1.5million live stream viewers worldwide.
Razer elevates standards in Digital Events
This year, RazerCon will continue its carbon neutrality push as the brand taps on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to use green energy to power the event. This is in line with Razer’s decarbonization efforts to reach its vision to become a net zero company by 2030.
Another remarkable trademark of RazerCon is the reactive Razer Chroma RGB (patent pending) that powers the event. The Razer Chroma RGB is the brand’s proprietary RGB lighting technology system. It has 16.8 million colors designed to create continuous dynamic lighting effects.
Viewers who turn on their Razer hardware during the live stream will witness their Chroma-enabled devices synchronize with the event, especially during the musical performances and entertainment segments.
