No crowds? No problem! Even as local authorities are prohibiting public gatherings and events in light of the pandemic, Resorts World Manila is still set to ring in the new year in the grandest way possible.
Dubbed “The Grand Countdown to 2021” with the tagline “New Year, New Hope, New Thrills,” the online concert is billed to be the only live New Year’s Eve countdown event scheduled on December 31, It is also the first live event to be produced on a grand stage ever since the live entertainment industry had to be put on hold last March.
Jed Madela will lead a star-studded roster of performers that includes Jona, Morissette Amon, comedian Jon Santos, and artists from The L.O.V.E. Project. It will be hosted by local artists Jon Joven and Nicole Laurel Asensio.
The event starts at 7PM and will be preceded by a Holy Mass at 6PM. It will be streamed live on pay-per-view on KTX.ph and Resorts World Manila’s official Facebook page. Pay-per-view tickets are sold at PhP2,000 via KTX.ph, with lucky ticket buyers standing a chance to win big prizes from Resorts World Manila.
