Pageant veteran Shane Tormes is ready to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Global 2021 pageant to be held in Bali, Indonesia.
Miss Global Philippines CEO and National Pageant Director Pauline Sofia Laping announced Shane’s appointment in a statement: “A talented and smart pageant veteran with numerous accolades to her name, she is one of the more popular names in the pageant industry in recent years,” she said.
“Her beauty captivated the hearts not only of her wide and loyal fanbase in our country but also abroad.”
She also commended Shane for her strength and perseverance not just in beauty pageants, but also in her personal life. “She is fearless that even if her personal life is faced with a serious challenge after her mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Parotid Cancer, it motivated her more to make her mother and all of us proud in her upcoming competition,” she continued.

Shane previously joined Binibining Pilipinas where she reached the Top 25 and won the “Binibining Friendship” award both in 2018 and 2019. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Earth-Fire in 2020.
