Here’s something we hope you’d never have to “add to cart”: St. Peter’s Life Plans, the pre-need death care company that’s been around since 1970, has launched the Philippines’ “first and only full-service death care online store” that sells traditional memorial and cremation plans — complete with caskets and urns for you to choose from!

Announced last Monday, November 29, through a virtual Facebook event which the company called “D-Day (Death-Care Day)”, St. Peter’s Life Plans’ e-store is branded as a “one-stop-shop” for all things that concern the passing of a loved one.

Their virtual brochure currently includes eight memorial and cremation pre-need plans, with each including either a casket or a marble urn. All plans are anti-inflationary — which means their value is retained regardless of when you use it — as well as transferable and assignable to any living or deceased person.

Plan holders are also given the option to hold eBurols and eLibings, or virtual wakes and internments, because who knows how long social distancing mandates will keep us apart?

The plans, which range from P43,400 to P120,000, can be paid with spot cash or through installments for the next five years

“We’re making it hassle-free for all our prospects,” said Jonathan Vitangcol, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of St. Peter’s Life Plans. “Remember: death is inevitable. We will be here for them to help and make it easy for the Filipino family to plan ahead so they can enjoy life more.”

If you’re interested in planning for the unforeseeable future, or you’re just flat-out curious how shopping for your eventual deathbed on a digital store works, head on to the St. Peter e-Store.
