Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay send message to each other for love month
Just like other love teams, Sparkle love team Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo celebrated Valentine’s Day together.
Pablo and Ansay surprised each other with special gifts, which they shared on their respective Instagram accounts.
Ansay received a big Valentine’s Day heart balloon and a big letter from Pablo. Meanwhile, Pablo got an arrangement in a room full of polaroids of their moments together.
Ansay said it is his first time to receive a surprise. Pablo, on the other hand, shared that her love team partner never fails to make her smile on Valentine’s Day.

Prior to their surprises, Pablo and Ansay had a pre-Valentine’s Day celebration at the Cabdury #PopYourHeartOutValentine event. This happened in Glorietta on February 4, 2023.
The AlFia love team served as ambassadors for the campaign. For Valentine’s month, the Cabdury Dairy Milk chocolates come in a special Pop Heart Sleeve. The sleeve features a shapeable 3D heart where its one can write a love note as a gift!
After the event, Pablo and Ansay spoke to FreebieMNL to talk about the campaign.
Pablo appreciates this because she’s not one to become showy of her feelings through words. “Ang laking tulong niya po sa akin kasi shy po talaga ako umamin ng mga feelings ko. As in hindi po kasi ako yung ‘Thank you, ha.’ Nasha-shy po ako.”
What are those feelings that she’s shy talking about?
Pablo answers, “Ahm… I’m happy you’re here! Mga ganon po, kahit simple lang, nahihiya po talaga ako. As in hindi ko po alam paano sisimulan. Si Allen kasi, medyo mas malakas po ang loob niya kaysa sa akin.”
Ansay says about the product: “Mas nakatulong pa kasi hindi na ako bibili ng susulatan ko pa. Pagbigay ko ng Cadbury, nandoon na yung sulat.”
FreebieMNL then asked the AlFia love team what would they tell each other through the #PopYourHeartOutValentine card.
Ansay first thinks of an answer. He looks at Pablo then answers with a smile, “Hihintayin kita.”
For Pablo, she says, “Ako po, isusulat ko sa aking heart letter pop out card is ‘Happy Valentine’s and please don’t go.’”

Meanwhile, the AlFia love team is happy with the performance of their show, “Luv Is: Caught In His Arms.”
The show premiered in January and has been performing well in the ratings game and even on its digital airing. Of this, Pablo and Ansay are both surprised because it’s something they did not expect.
More than that, they are able to target a new audience for their team-up.
Ansay tells FreebieMNL, “Nakakagulat po kasi hindi namin in-expect. Sabi namin before, hindi kami nag-e-expect ng mataas na ratings. Sabi lang namin talaga, sana mahalin ng mga tao, pero nagulat po kami. Nagulat kami kasi naka-target kami ng 30 years old above. Ang daming nagko-comment everytime sa social media accounts namin, sa live sa YouTube na ‘30 years old na ako pero kinikilig na ako.’ Ang sarap lang po sa feeling kasi na-move ng na-move [yung airing] ‘tapos pinaghirapan ng two months sa lock-in, naging worth it talaga.”
Pablo reveals that it was their director, Barry Gonzalez, who wanted to target an older age bracket.
She explains, “Tinarget po kasi talaga namin, mga 40s, mga lolas, kasi yung audience po talaga namin before ‘Luv Is,’ mga teens, mga 20s. So, gusto ni Direk, mag-widen po talaga yung audience range namin. So, na-achieve naman namin ang aming goal. Kasi kapag lumalabas po kami, yung mga lola, ‘Uy, pinapanuod namin kayo.‘ So, nakakatuwa na nagiging family bonding yung ‘Luv Is.’
“At saka ang daming nagsasabi na kakilala namin na kahit nakikita po kami off-cam… yan si mommy, habang nanunuod siya ng TV, ‘Alam mo, nanggigigil ako sa inyo, nakakakilig kayo.’ So, ibang klase po talaga. I’m really happy kasi yung teamwork with Direk Barry, na-achieve po namin yung goal na magpakita ng new levels na kilig namin ni Allen.”
“Luv Is: Caught In His Arms” airs daily on GMA Telebabad. Sparkada members Caitlyn Stave, Tanya Ramos, Kristen Gonzales, Cheska Fausto, Michael Sager, Sean Lucas, Raheel Bhyria, and Vince Maristela play important roles in the teleserye.
