For two decades, actress Bea Alonzo has been a fixture on Philippine cinema and television. Known for her projects with blockbuster love team partner, John Lloyd Cruz, the actress has a good number of projects under her belt, including ABS-CBN dramas “Maging Sino Ka Man,” “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” and “A Love To Last.”
Given the success she’s enjoyed throughout her career, what more can Alonzo want? In a recent vlog post with actor Ian Veneracion, she confessed that all she wants is a “boring family life.”
“I want to have a partner for life. I want to have someone to be there to raise a family and build a life with. Sana makahanap ako ng kasing buti mo bilang tatay (I hope to find someone who’s a good father like you). I just want a boring family life,” the 33-year old told Veneracion.
She also admitted that she didn’t expect to be the last one to settle down among her friends. She recounted how she once wanted to get married and have children at 28. Nonetheless, she still thinks she’s the marrying type of girl.
Alonzo is rumored to be currently dating actor Dominque Roque. They’ve been spotted together since last year, fueling speculations of romance. Fans even believe the duo went on vacation to luxury resort Amanpulo earlier this year. The couple has yet to post pictures of each other on social media.
Her last known relationship was with Gerald Anderson. The breakup made a fuss in the Philippine grapevine as Alonzo admitted that Anderson just stopped talking to her all of the sudden. He was then linked to actress Julia Barretto. Anderson and Barretto have yet to confess about their relationship.
Given everything Alonzo has been through, maybe she’s on the brink of finally having the family she always wanted. Could Roque be the one she’s waiting for? Only time can tell.
