Atom writes, “Change career na ba itu?”
Broadcast journalist Atom Araullo captivates the hearts online following a teaser photo for an upcoming “I-Witness” episode, which will air on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
The internet was abuzz after Atom uploaded a photo that shows him wearing a pilot uniform. The photo released by Atom on some of his social media accounts comes with a caption that reads, “Change career na ba itu?”
Almost immediately, netizens flocked to the comment section to express how much the uniform suits Atom very well. There were also those who also commented about Atom being so handsome.

The Facebook page of “I-Witness” has also uploaded a series of photos showing Atom in the same uniform. The caption reads, “ POV: Crush mo sa kabilang department kapag dumadaan sa hallway n’yo.
“Parang nag-so-slow motion ang lahat! Tungkol saan nga ba ang magiging dokumentaryo ni Maverick este ni Atom Araullo ngayong Sabado sa #IWitness?” Abangan!”
Not much has been revealed about the upcoming episode of “I-Witness,” but as hinted by Atom’s pilot suit and some guesses from the netizens, the episode would revolve around aviation.
Atom Araullo reveals being “torpe” in the past
Aside from Atom’s highly revered expertise in broadcasting and journalism, just one of the many traits he so truly possesses is his physical profile. However, despite the God-given traits, Atom still admits that he used to shy away from taking romantic moves explicitly.
In an episode of “Surprise Guest With Pia Arcangel,” the 41-year-old documentarist says, “Torpe, e. Yung ano, yung half ligaw, kunwari hindi talaga ligaw, yun na rin yun. Ako guilty ako diyan, e. Guilty as charged. Especially when I was a lot younger in college.”

In the same podcast, Atom reveals the traits of his ideal girl—which he says must be “very passionate” in life. As he puts it, “I think what I find attractive, especially, you know, at this stage of my life, yung mga tao na very passionate about something.
“People who are really kind. You get an understanding kung ano yung genuine kindness, e, lalo na kapag mas, you know, mas may edad ka na. Hindi na yung beyond the facade or parang yung magpakitang tao.
“You get an understanding for sino yung mga may true empathy, yung kahit mukhang masungit sa labas, parang yung nakatago yung ano, yung pagiging pusong mamon, yung mga ganyan.”
More so, he adds that curious people attracts him in way that, “Feeling ko kasi ‘pag ganun, ang daming, ang daming pwedeng pag-usapan, e. Tapos ang daming yung pwedeng gawin together.“
