According to a new report, Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman will reprise their roles as Spider-Man and Wolverine in “Avengers: Secret Wars.”
The news comes from one of the most reputable leakers, MyTimeToShineHello. She says that Maguire and Jackman will return for “Avengers: Secret Wars” and appear together onscreen for the first time.

“Yes, Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman will meet and fight alongside each other in Secret Wars,” she writes.
She tweeted a more detailed plot explanation for the upcoming “Avengers” films: “This is how they plan to make Secret Wars work without making it a four-hour movie. Kang Dynasty will have the ‘New Avengers’ as the leads. While Secret Wars will be from the point of view and will focus on the heroes from the other universes.”
Maguire was recently seen in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” a multiverse project where he appeared alongside Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield.
As for Jackman, he was last seen in his farewell “Wolverine” project, “Logan.” The film explores the life of Wolverine in the final days of his life.
While “Deadpool 3” sets Jackman’s MCU debut, Maguire has yet to confirm his comeback as Spider-Man. In an interview after the film’s release, he stated that he did not want to “end the chapter” on the character.
Although their team-up in “Avengers: Secret Wars” is a rumor, it will most likely be the case. MyTimeToShineHello has proven herself to be an accurate leaker throughout the years. She often leaks movie plots and secrets months or years before a film’s release.
However, a proper announcement and confirmation have yet to suffice from its producers.
