A little Halsey is on the way!
American singer-songwriter Halsey, known for her hit songs “Without Me,” “Bad at Love,” and “Closer” is expecting her first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin, a screenwriter and film producer.

Surprise
In an Instagram post on January 27, 2021, Halsey showed her baby bump through photos taken by 21-year-old photographer Sam Dameshek.
She simply captioned the post with “surprise!” and added emojis of a baby bottle, rainbow, and baby angel.
Alev commented, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness,” to which Halsey replied, “I love you!!!!! And I love this mini human already!” So sweet!
A few days after sharing the good news with the rest of the world, Halsey also shared a sonogram image via Instagram stories, where we can spot the little one’s feet!
Starting a family
Halsey has always been vocal about wanting to have a family of her own. And despite her battle with endometriosis, she didn’t lose hope.
She’ll soon be able to fulfill this dream and we could really see her radiating with joy (as seen in her maternity shoot!)
According to an article from The Guardian, her song “More” talks about “her desire for a child.” She was also “scared to release [the song] given the online abuse she received after a miscarriage.”
In a tweet, Halsey expressed her gratitude for the outpouring support given to her by fellow celebrities and fans: “Thanks for the love[.] I’ve been bursting at the seams for the past 48 hours. It’s wonderful to celebrate something with you all after years of sharing all the sad stuff.”
