Claudine Barretto seems to be on good terms with her sisters
During her recent appearance on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Claudine Barretto opened up about her relationship with her sisters, Gretchen and Marjorie Barretto.
The actress, accompanied by her children Sabina, Quia, and Noah, was asked by host Boy Abunda about the status of her relationship with her siblings since her return to GMA-7.
Recalling the Barretto sisters’ feud in October 2019 following their father’s passing, Claudine shared that Gretchen has been a constant presence in her life.
She said, “She never left my side. We don’t get to spend time all the time, but the words of wisdom, her being there, kahit thru phone lang, ang dami kong natutunan… Dada, Atong.”
“Dada” refers to Gretchen’s longtime partner, Tonyboy Cojuangco, while “Atong” is businessman Atong Ang, who is also close to Gretchen.
On the other hand, Claudine revealed that she and Marjorie don’t talk that much, although they see each other during family gatherings.
She emphasizes, “As for Marjorie, we don’t really get to talk talaga, but all is well.”
Claudine also expressed pride in her niece Julia Barretto, Marjorie’s daughter. She shared that they see each other during family events.
“We’re good. She’s very busy. I’m very busy,” she said. “I think the last time I saw her was around March before her birthday. Kapag may family events kami, may birthday sa bahay ng Kuya Mito ko, we see each other.
“I’m proud of whatever she’s achieving now,” Claudine said about her niece. She added that she’s “very proud not only of Julia but all my nieces. They grew up with me. Sila yung bitbit-bitbit ko kahit saan.“
