Captivating Katkat emerged victorious as the winner of the second season of “Drag Race Philippines.”
The 35-year-old transgender woman sensation from Mandaluyong City triumphed over 12 other exceptionally talented competitors from across the Philippines to claim the coveted crown.
She was crowned by the first season’s winner, Precious Paula Nicole.
In the grand finale, she faced off against Arizona Brandy in an exhilarating lip-sync challenge for the crown. Earlier in the competition, M1ss Jade So and Bernie were eliminated after intense lip-sync battles.
Captivating Katkat will receive a remarkable grand prize package, which includes P1,000,000 in cash, a year’s supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, a crown, and a scepter.
The second season of Drag Race Philippines, featuring three transgender women in the Final Four—Captivating Katkat, Bernie, and M1ss Jade So—will be remembered as another historic milestone in the show’s history.
Throughout the season, Filipino drag queens captivated the audience with their breathtaking runway presentations, witty banter, comedic acts, and breathtaking song and dance performances, creating unforgettable moments during the “lip-sync for your life” battles.
Drag Queens Nicole Pardaux, Astrid Mercury, Tiny DeLuxe, Veruschka Levels, Matilduh, DeeDee Marié Holliday, Hana Beshie, and ØV Cünt were the other contestants this season.
