Well, it looks like Filipinos will get to be represented on a global platform once again as the mega popular comic book G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero is set to introduce its first-ever Filipino character. Yes, G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #283 will see the debut of former Philippine Special Forces member Nestor Abuba—codename: MULTO.
Multo will be making his first appearance alongside another new character, Olivia Baipaj, a.k.a., BLACK HAT, according to G.I. Joe toy collector Diana Davis’s Twitter account. Very little is known about Multo and Black Hat’s back story, but these new characters will surely play huge roles in #283’s “Murder by Assassination” plot.
