Harry’s fans are gonna love this.
After a two-year relationship, Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have decided to part ways.
The news comes after People reports that the two are taking a break. “He’s still touring and is now heading overseas.” Meanwhile, she’s concentrating on her children and her work in Los Angeles. “It’s a very amicable decision,” says a source to People.
They further state that the two celebrities are “still very close friends” but that “they have different priorities that keep them apart.”
The media first linked Styles and Wilde in September 2020. This was when the “Harry’s House” singer replaced Shia LaBeouf in the cast of “Don’t Worry Darling.”
A few months later, it was revealed that the 38-year-old and her longtime boyfriend, Jason Sudeikis, had broken up. Styles was later reportedly seen holding hands with Wilde at a wedding in California.
She denied leaving Sudeikis for Styles in an interview, putting an end to rumors. “The ridiculous notion that I abandoned Jason for Harry is completely false. Our relationship ended before I met Harry,” she says to Vanity Fair. “It doesn’t end overnight, like any other relationship.”
Harry and Wilde’s relationship ended a few months after the premiere of “Don’t Worry Darling.” It is a film Wilde directed and co-starred in with Styles and Florence Pugh.
Because the film was notorious for alleged cast feuds and public controversies, “public pressure on them has been difficult,” the source says. “They’ve had ups and downs throughout their relationship.”
