The former Star Magic babies are together again!
In a rare occasion, Heart Evangelista reunites with Jericho Rosales after many years. The ex-lovers were present at a mini-reunion with former Star Magic talents and babies of its former head, Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan.
Together with Evangelista and Rosales were top artists of Star Magic in different generations: Diether Ocampo, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Maja Salvador, and Kyle Echarri. They were also joined by former Star Magic head, Mariole Alberto.
Evangelista posted snapshots of their reunion on her Instagram account. She writes in the caption, “Growing up together was fun … seeing where life has taken all of us is pretty cool.”
Evangelista also has selfies where she was close to Rosales, Salvador, and Alonzo.

Alonzo also posted an elevator selfie with her brothers and sisters in Star Magic, as well as a photo with Mr. M. Her caption was a line from One Direction’s “Night Changes.”

Alonzo also posted a photo of the actors called the Star Magic kings: Ocampo, Cruz, Pascual, and Rosales on her Instagram stories.

Salvador posted a different set of photos. Her photos include Cruz, who was absent in the photos posted by Evangelista. Salvador says in the caption, “Our stars collided last night… It was magical.” Evangelista replies in the comments section, “It was a dream.”

A Nostalgic Star Magic Night
The reunion brought nostalgia to a lot of fans, reliving the early 2000s of television where these actors headlined successful projects in ABS-CBN. All of them have also become part of ABS-CBN’s noontime show, “ASAP.”
At press time, only Diether Ocampo and Kyle Echarri are talents of Star Magic, while Piolo Pascual remains as a contract star of ABS-CBN.
Among them, Heart Evangelista was the first to leave ABS-CBN and Star Magic, and still remains as a talent of GMA Network and Sparkle. Bea Alonzo, who is now managed by Shirley Kuan, is a contract artist of GMA Network. Maja Salvador now owns her own talent management company, Crown Artist Management, while working for all TV networks. John Lloyd Cruz is now managed by Salvador and headlines the Kapuso sitcom “Happy ToGetHer.”
Mr. M and Alberto are also now with Sparkle, GMA Network’s talent management arm.
It was also a reunion of sorts for Rosales, Ocampo, and Pascual, who are part of The Hunks with Carlos Agassi and Bernard Palanca. The group was popular for their build and for doing sexy numbers in “ASAP” that they would even do successful shows abroad.

In 2003, Evangelista and Alonzo headlined a twin-bill movie, “My First Romance,” with their respective love-team partners, John Prats and John Lloyd Cruz.
Heart Evangelista reunites with Jericho Rosales
The night also served as a kilig reunion for ex-lovers Heart Evangelista and Jericho Rosales, who were seen together again after their breakup in 2008. Evangelista and Rosales had a controversial relationship after they were paired in the 2005 series “Panday.”

The last time that the ex-couple were seen together was in an event in 2017. At present, Evangelista is married to Senator Chiz Escudero while Rosales is married to Kim Jones.
