Bela Padilla’s friends had the best reactions to her meeting Korean superstar Song Joong-Ki
Actress-director Bela Padilla shared on her Instagram account an ultimate fangirl experience when she met the “Vincenzo” star Song Joong-Ki on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 (Philippine time) at the Cannes Film Festival.
“Good morning. He’s so chill and friendly,” Bela wrote with kilig emojis. “Thank you for pointing him out direk [Adolfo Alix, Jr.].”
Director Adolf Alix, Jr. also shared his photo with the actor, captioning his post: “Song Joong-Ki in Cannes! Big Boss is a nice guy and very accommodating,” he wrote.
The actress also posted on her Instagram story her photo in all smiles during her swim, 30 minutes before meeting Joong-Ki.
Bela’s celebrity friends had the best reactions, with Angelica Panganiban and Kim Chiu even telling her to add Joong-Ki to their group chat.
“OMG!!!! Pa add na sha sa GC momsy!!!! May sasabihin ako!!! pede pa video greet!!???” Kim commented.
“Nice seeing you. Ay di pala ako yan,” TV host Kim Atienza wrote. While Ryan Bang quipped: “Akala ko di ka mag-post pic natin post mo na pala.”

Bela, who is not just an actress but also a screenwriter and director, flew to France to learn more about the film industry.
“The education I’m getting here in Cannes is so precious to me. If I had told myself at 16 that I’d be here today, talking to fellow filmmakers about the right directions to follow and necessary changes we need to adapt to make life easier for the next generation, I would have laughed,” she shared in an Instagram post.
She added, “It’s only been 3 days and I have another week here and I can’t wait for what’s next.”
