ICYMI: All the LIVE Performances at the BRITs 2021

The 2021 BRIT Awards went live at the O2 Arena in London last May 11. They might have had to postpone earlier, but the star-studded ceremony was worth the wait. It was the first major indoor music event since the pandemic and included performances by some of the hottest artists right now.

Coldplay

Coldplay headlined the 2021 BRITS and performed their latest single, Higher Power. Of course, they opened the show with a bang and a colorful display of pyrotechnics.

Dua Lipa

It might have been months since Future Nostalgia came out, but Dua still came through with a medley of her chart-topping songs. We just can’t get enough of her raspy and powerful voice.

The Weeknd

Trust the Weeknd to give us a spectacular performance. Though he wasn’t live at The O2, the remote production of Save Your Tears was still a success.

Olivia Rodrigo

The 18-year-old actress/singer has been making waves in the music industry lately. Olivia made her debut UK performance at the BRITs with a stripped-back version of Driver’s License.

Olly Alexander and Elton John

Years and Years’ Olly Alexander and the iconic Elton John performed together in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation. They covered the Pet Shop Boy’s It’s a Sin and did it justice.

Headie One

British rapper Headie One first did a rendition of Ain’t it Different with AJ Tracey, followed by a lively recital of Princess Cuts with Young T & Bugsey. They definitely came with the bars.

Rag’n’Bone Man and P!nk

Rag’n’Bone Man and P!nk’s performance was a nice contrast from the upbeat tunes. Their emotional rendition of Anywhere From Here was beautifully accompanied by the Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir.

Arlo Parks

Arlo Parks reminds us we’re not alone in these uncertain times. She delivered Hope at the O2 and took home the award as the Breakthrough Artist this year.

Griff

Griff proved she deserved the award for Rising Star with her impeccable performance of Black Hole. She harmonized on stage, learned to use a loop machine, and sewed her own dress — just #QueenThings.

Nathan Evans

The BRIT Awards 2021 ended on a fun note with sea shanties by Nathan Evans with this year’s host, Jack Whitehall.

A big congratulations to all the nominees, winners, and the people behind the BRIT for pulling an event like this during the pandemic. Re-watch all their performances and let us know which were your favorite.
