Actor Jason Abalos and beauty queen Vickie Rushton are set to become parents!
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, the beauty queen shared a video clip from an ultrasound. In the caption, she wrote: “The first time we saw you.”
She also quoted 1 Samuel 1:27 from the Bible: “For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted the desires of our hearts.”
Vickie has yet to share her baby’s due date.
Among those who congratulated the couple was their celebrity friends Jessy Mendiola, Loisa Andalio, Patrick Garcia, Diana Zubiri, Gio Alvarez, and Melissa Ricks.
Even beauty queens Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2020 Samantha Bernardo, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2018 Jehza Huelar, and Miss Global 2022 Shane Tormes extended their congratulations for the happy couple.
Vickie Rushton’s birthday gift
Making it even special was that the former “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” housemate celebrated her 31st birthday just a day prior to their big announcement.
Jason took to Instagram to greet his wife.
“Maligayang kaarawan mahal kong asawa. Kulang ang pasasalamat sa panginoon dahil ikaw ang makakasama ko habang buhay. Ang pag mamahal ng panginoon ay ramdam ko pag nakikita ko kung anong puso ang meron ka. mahal na mahal kita,” he wrote.
The couple tied the knot at the San Antonio De Padua Parish Church in Nasugbu, Batangas In September 2022. Several celebrities attended their nuptials including Marco Alcaraz, Joseph Bitangcol, Garcia, Paul Jake Castillo, and Joross Gamboa.
The Kapuso actor proposed to Vickie on September 1, 2021, but they only revealed their engagement in June 2022.
