Judy Ann Santos assured that they will be pushing through with the shooting next year
Actress Judy Ann Santos has finally addressed questions following the delay of her Canada departure to shoot her comeback film “The Diary of Mrs. Winters.”
The seasoned actress is supposed to be shooting her upcoming horror-drama film in Canada at this point following her supposed departure in March.
Unfortunately, they weren’t able to push through and Santos has taken to her Instagram story last April 11, 2023 to share the real reason.
“Sa mga nagtatanong, hindi po kami natuloy mag-Canada, hindi lumabas yung visa ko, specifically, so it will be pushed back to next year,” she shares.
Despite this, Santos is fine with the sudden changes.
“But all is good, all is good, all the production is good. Siguro sadyang hindi pa lang naaayon ang mga bagay-bagay sa pagkakataong ito,” she explains.
Santos adds, “But you know, sadyang maproseso lang ang mga ganap.”
“The Diary of Mrs. Winters,” which stars Santos opposite Sam Milby, is produced by AMP Studios Canada and HappyKarga Films. It will be shot in Canada and in the Philippines.

Judy Ann’s series comeback
Santos previously noted that she’s now choosy when it comes to projects that she engages with primarily because her top priority is looking after her kids. However, she’s not particularly closing her doors to good projects with good material.
Apart from “The Diary of Mrs. Winters,” Santos’ fans can also look forward to her comeback series. Although this time it is not under ABS-CBN, but rather it’s under Erik Matti’s production company, Reality Entertainment.

With her ABS-CBN contract expired, Santos has decided not to have any exclusive contract for the time being.
She says, “Yes, that I could say na per-project basis ako ngayon. Buma-base kasi, dume-depende na talaga siya sa energy ko. 80% of my energy, I give it to my family and I love doing my job as a mom and as a wife. Yung 20%, yun na yung passion ko for acting, I have my Angrydobo.”
