Calvin Klein Welcomes BTS’ Jungkook As New Brand Ambassador

Jungkook strikes like dynamite!

As if shaking the K-pop fandom is not enough, member of the sensational boy band BTS, Jungkook, has yet again taken the world by storm as the new Calvin Klein Brand Ambassador for 2023. 

Calvin Klein has announced the K-Pop idol as the global brand ambassador for its line of jeans and underwear on March 28, 2023. Jungkook debuted in the brand’s newest campaign, Spring 2023 collections.

With most of this year’s trends anchored on nostalgia and throwbacks, Jungkook then rides the upsurge wearing the ’90s straight denim, body jeans, relaxed fit denim shirt, oversized denim jacket, and standard logo crewneck tee.

The campaign was launched through the brand’s official social media account. Jungkook reveals in an exclusive interview with ELLE magazine, “I have been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time, and I’m thrilled to be their newest global ambassador. This partnership is very special, as Calvin Klein’s heritage and brand values resonate with me.”

He adds, “My music is how I communicate with my fans around the world, and I see this partnership as an opportunity to connect with them in a new way. I’m incredibly excited for people to see a new side of me in this first campaign for the brand.”

Part of the official announcement is an attestation about all the right reasons why Jungkook was appointed. According to Calvin Klein’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, Jonathan Bottomley, “We pride ourselves on identifying globally relevant talent whose cultural impact and values align with our own. 

“Jungkook is one of the world’s most popular artists; he possesses a rare ability to connect with international audiences through both his music and his style. We’re fortunate and excited to have him join the Calvin Klein team,” Bottomley continues.

In a series of photos and videos that the internet has feasted on, it is inarguable that Jungkook has officially marked his global takeover as one of the most celebrated ambassadors of Calvin Klein. In less than 24 hours after its release, the clothing collection raked massive profits in multiple countries, including the United States, China, South Korea, and Japan.
