Fans Thrilled Over Rumored BTS Jungkook’s Solo Album

Jung Kook stans, are you ready for his solo album?

The long wait is almost over as K-Pop sensation BTS’ vocalist Jung Kook is reportedly set to put out his first solo album this July.

Big Hit Music, BTS’ management company, however, remains non-committal as to the exact release date. Nevertheless, the Armys, the group’s fans, are already over the moon about it.

Fans took to social media to express excitement over the release, with “JJK1 IS COMING” landing on Twitter’s list of trending topics in the Philippines.

The Armys are already banking on the Korean entertainment website, Soompi’s report that the 25-year-old singer will release his album on July 14, 2023.

The album is set to include an English-language track.

“We will make an announcement once the release schedule for Jung Kook’s solo album has been confirmed,” the agency said, as per the Soompi article.

Jung Kook will follow fellow BTS members who have released solo albums: J-Hope, RM, Jin, Suga, and Jimin.

Prior to his upcoming album, Jung Kook has already collaborated with American singer Charlie Puth for the song “Left and Right” which was released in the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup theme song “Dreamers.”

Even though some of the group’s members are currently doing military service, the last of which was J-hope, who enlisted last April, the Armys still have something to look forward to from their favorite septet.

Aside from “Take Two,” BTS is also set to release a book titled “Beyond the Story,” still for their 10th anniversary.

Last year, the BTS members announced they were taking a break from group activities to focus on their solo careers.
