Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Have Finalized Their Divorce

Ye will be sending $200,000 each month in child support.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s marriage is officially over.

According to insiders, the two formally divorced after reaching an agreement on child custody and property distribution.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West began dating in 2012 and wed in May 2014. In February 2021, the reality star filed for divorce, with Kardashian additionally requesting to proclaim herself unmarried. Through the help of a judge, she also asked to revert back to her maiden name.

Both parties have agreed to waive spousal support. Despite this, rapper Ye will pay US$200,000 monthly in child support for the couple’s four children. He will also bear half of the children’s educational and security costs.

West and Kardashian will share their joint properties and assets according to their prenuptial agreement.

The two will enjoy “equal access” to their children’s custody. Kardashian and West have agreed to settle any possible custody conflicts through mediation.

“While I wish our marriage had succeeded, I have concluded that there is no way to mend it. Kanye does not agree. But he has realized I want to leave our marriage, even if he does not. I request that the Court reinstate my single status so that I may begin the healing process. Our family can begin the healing process and move forward in this new chapter in our life, ” the “Kardashians” star wrote in court documents.

The divorce settlement comes at a difficult time for West. Following his anti-Semitic rants, many professional partners have severed connections with him. These include adidas, Balenciaga, and talent agency CAA.
