The actor rocked the Verizon stage at the 2023 BottleRock Napa Valley music festival. He showcased his bass guitar skills alongside drummer Robert Mailhouse and guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose.

Dogstar’s performance at the festival drew a huge crowd. The setlist featured a mix of songs from the band’s previous releases and tracks from their upcoming album. The audience responded enthusiastically, cheering for the “John Wick” actor throughout the afternoon.

Before their stage appearance, Mailhouse gave Keanu some encouraging words after the band’s lengthy hiatus.

In an interview, Keanu shared, “He was just super positive… He was like, ‘Listen to the music. Just be present in the song, and it will go from there.'”

Formed in 1991, Dogstar experienced moderate success with two studio albums and an EP before disbanding in 2002. Despite the break, Keanu had the opportunity to embrace his inner rockstar once again. He lent his voice and likeness to the rebellious rockerboy Johnny Silverhand in the popular video game “Cyberpunk 2077.”
