Kyla, the Philippines’ “Queen of R&B,” revealed that she suffered a miscarriage this year. “My heart is broken in levels deeper than you may ever have imagined,” she posted, along with a black and white photo showing her growing baby bump.
“Our little angel, please watch over me, your Daddy, and Kuya Toby. Send our hugs and kisses to your 2 siblings in heaven. We love you, our Millie.”
Kyla and her husband, Rich Alvarez, got married in 2011 and welcomed their first child named Toby in 2013. In 2018, Kyla suffered two miscarriages and opened up about her experience later in the year.
“It was a sensitive pregnancy that I had to leave work for a while; take a bedrest, as advised by our doctor. That’s why I haven’t been on TV and I had to forgo some of the events where I had to sing, and shows including ASAP in Australia,” she posted on Instagram.
“This year has been very difficult for me and my family. But I will remain hopeful. I know everything happens for a reason. And through all the pain and trying experiences, I know something wonderful will happen.”
