He put a ring on it… in style!
Vlogger and influencer Laureen Uy got the dreamiest proposal from longtime boyfriend Miggy Cruz on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
Laureen, who is currently vacationing with Miggy in the U.S., took to Instagram to share the exciting news.
She likewise shared a video of how the proposal really came about.
“’Let’s shoot a Wes Anderson reel,’ he said. Little did I know this was really the plan. AAAAAAAHHHHH!!! I said yes,” Laureen captioned the post.
Miggy proposed to Laureen at the Joshua Tree National Park in California.
Miggy chose the perfect spot in the National Park right before sunset before he knelt on one knee and popped the question.
“Oh, my God! Yes! I love you,” she responded in the video.

The 33-year-old vlogger and businesswoman proudly showed off her ring in a separate post.
In another post, an over-the-moon Laureen shared photos of their big moment and captioned it, “Still not over it.”
Although known for being sociable, Laureen has kept her circle tight and they called their group the “blogger besties.”
Among the original members of the group were influencers and vloggers Kryz Uy and Camille Co. Later on, the group expanded to include Patricia Prieto and Lissa Kahayon.
Both of her OG besties were nothing but happy about Laureen’s latest milestone.
Kryz commented, “AHHHH THE ANNOUNCEMENT. LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH AND I CAN NOT WAIT TO CELEBRATE!!!!!”
“LORD KNOWS IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS. I CRYYYY. Also so happy I no longer have to keep this secret. I love you guys so much my heart is going to explode,” Camille wrote.
Laureen and Miggy have been in a relationship since 2017.
Apart from making content on social media, the two have also ventured into the world of business as co-owners of the burger joint, Hungry Homies, and trendy bar, FLO All Day Drinking.
