Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga has been working on a Netflix animated musical series entitled “Centaurworld,” which is set to premiere on July 30, 2021.
Lea was glad to share the news after staying low-key about it for a year. “Yahooooo! Been sitting on this for more than a year! This was a blast to work on,” she said.
“Hoping I get to see all the voice actors in person at some point and get to hug their necks.”
The Filipina Broadway icon revealed that she has already finished recording her parts at Hit Productions Inc. and went on to thank the company’s President and Managing Partner, Vic Icasas.
“Recorded my bits at Hit Productions Inc. Thanks as always, Vic Icasas and your team at Hit, for all your help!”
Other celebrities who lent their voices to “Centaurworld” characters include Parvesh Cheena, Roman Engel, Megan Hilty, Josh Radnor, Chris Diamantopoulos, Kimiko Glenn, and Jessie Mueller.
According to Netflix, the animated show follows the story of “a hardened war horse transported away from battle finds herself in a land that’s inhabited by silly, singing centaurs of all shapes and sizes.”
