Lee Jong Suk Set For Manila Return This April

Will Lee Jong Suk talk about his girlfriend IU during the fan meet?

K-drama fans will soon have a heyday with Korean star Lee Jong-suk as he is finally returning to the country this April.

Fashion magazine L’Officiel Philippines announced that they will be hosting an intimate fan meet with the 33-year-old actor on April 16, 2023.

Much to the fans’ excitement, the publication unveiled Saturday, March 11, 2023, the ticket prices and seat plan for the award-winning South Korean actor’s upcoming fan meet. Ticket prices range from PHP 4,000.00 to PHP 9,500.00

Tickets to the fan meet are now available at L’Officiel’s online shop.

Lee Jong-Suk’s first Manila visit

Lee first held a fan meet in the Philippines in November 2018 for his “Crank Up Fanmeeting Tour” at the Big Dome. 

However, he first travelled to the Philippines in 2013 when he shot his movie titled “No Breathing.”

Originally known as a mode, Lee later on, ventured into acting. His debut project was as a supporting cast in the K-Drama “Prosecutor Princess.”

He rose to international prominence as he became part of several hit television series. Among them, “I Can Hear Your Voice” (2013), “Pinocchio” (2014), “W” (2016), “While You Were Sleeping” (2017), and “Romance Is a Bonus Book” (2019).

Lee was also noticed by the viewers following his quick portrayal of singer-songwriter Han Tae Sun in Hyun Bin’s hit series “Secret Garden.”

He broke through the Korean entertainment scene after starring in the teen drama “School 2013,” which earned him the Best New Actor trophy in the 2012 KBS Drama Awards.

New love for Lee Jong-suk

In December, Lee made headlines after it was revealed that he is in a relationship with popular singer-actress IU.

The couple ranked among the top five globally famous Korean celebrities and actors in South Korea in a recent survey. The coveted Hallyu Star Overseas 2023 survey is conducted and published by the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE).

According to the result released last March 10, 2023, the men who ranked first in the actors’ category were Lee Min-ho, followed by Gong Yoo, Hyun Bin, Song Hye-kyo, and finally Lee Jong Suk. Meanwhile, IU ranked fifth in the singers’ category in which BTS ranked first, closely followed by BLACKPINK, PSY, and Twice.
