Lie Reposposa Publicizes Issue With Mother; Laments Being Breadwinner Of Family

“Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” alum Lie Reposposa shares in a lengthy Facebook letter her “sama ng loob” to her mother while being the breadwinner of the family.

Lie seemingly reached the brim of emotions as she released a statement on Friday, May 24, 2024 in response to a netizen who criticized her for allegedly insufficiently funding their household.

As the netizen puts it, Lie lives in grandeur while her family is currently in debt and without enough money for the monthly bills. Lie was also castigated for eating a proper meal while her family only has tuyo and mantika in substitute for food.

Baring her truth on the matter, Lie replies with, “Gusto ko lang maglabas ng sama ng loob.

Lamenting further, Lie exposes that it was her mother who drags her name—consistently subjecting Lie as the center of tittle-tattle despite all the things she had done for the family. In fact, she already bought them a farm lot and even covered the monthly water and electric bills.

More so, Lie says that she already wiped her family’s debt clean. However, the debt accumulated yet again because of her family’s decision to borrow. At the same time, she defended herself about having to buy groceries and for eating from fast food chains.

At the latter part of the letter, Lie acknowledges that it was just a misunderstanding, which can still be resolved. But admittedly, Lie says her tampo comes from the passive treatment of her family over her emotional needs.

As she puts it, ”Ayaw ko sana umabot sa ganito pero mas naiintindihan niyo kasi ako kapag dito.

God bless.”

At press time, Lie’s mother has not said anything yet about her daughter’s post.

Lie Reposposa reveals reason for weight loss, debunks pregnancy rumors

Prior to Lie’s exposé, the 20-year-old actress also took to Facebook her recent battle against pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) and anemia—which caused her to lose weight and struggle physically.

Addressing the netizens’ query about her sudden slimming, Lie writes, “Madaming nagtatanong at nagulat bakit sobrang payat ko na.

In the same statement, Lie reveals that the previous insinuations she made about pregnancy were not true—and she was only doing it for the sake of fun.

Before becoming an official housemate of “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso,” Lie first tried her hands in singing via “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” in “It’s Showtime.” Going into the reality show, Lie was then dubbed as “Teenig ng Tawanan of Davao.”
