Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song Welcome Baby Boy Named Dakota

“Changeland” co-stars Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song have welcomed their first child together! Their son, named Dakota Song Culkin, was born on April 5, 2021 in Los Angeles, California. “We’re overjoyed,” the couple said in a short but sweet statement.

“Mother, father and baby are all healthy and happy,” Macaulay’s representative, Michelle Bega also shared.

The couple named their baby boy after Macaulay’s late sister Dakota, who passed away in 2008 at the age of 29.

As early as 2018, Macaulay has already expressed his desire to start a family with Brenda. In an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, he said, “I’m going to have some pretty babies. She’s Asian, so I’m gonna have tiny little Asian babies. It’s going to be adorable–a bunch of Sean Lennons running around the house, that’s what I’m looking for.”

Meanwhile, Brenda shared a rare photo of them together on Macaulay’s 40th birthday. She said, “I could sit here and write endlessly about how wonderful, kind, loving, genuine, loyal, honest, brilliant and hilarious you are, and how grateful I am that I get to share and do this life thing with you…  I am [the] luckiest person in the world because I am loved by you.”

The couple first met on the set of the comedy-drama film “Changeland” and have been romantically linked for the first time in July 2017. Their movie was released in 2019 and marked Macaulay’s first big movie role in a decade.
