Matteo Guidicelli is hopeful that Sarah and Teacher Georcelle’s relationship would be better
Actor Matteo Guidicelli has categorically denied any involvement in the ongoing tiff between his wife, Sarah Geronimo, and her longtime choreographer, Georcelle Dapat-Sy aka Teacher Georcelle.
G-Force, the group behind the famous dance steps of the Pop Star Royalty’s massive hit “Tala,” was not part of her sold-out 20th anniversary concert held at the Araneta Coliseum on May 12, 2023.
Finally breaking his silence over the issue, Matteo curtly explained that he has never forced his wife to do anything.
“I don’t push Sarah, I stand beside,” Matteo tells Boy Abunda in an interview that aired on May 15, 2023.

The new Kapuso also said that certain things did not unfold as expected during the process of making Sarah’s concert.
“Sarah and Teacher [Georcelle] have been together for 16 years. Sarah wanted to work with G-Force, different dancers, different choreographers, and just have this synergy of greatness together and I guess things didn’t pan out,” the actor said.
He added, “Sarah wanted to create greatness kumbaga, develop greatness, go forward, produce beautiful things with everybody.”
Reports of the tiff made rounds on social media after Sarah performed a different choreography to the hit song during her FIBA event appearance.
Among the speculations that arose was that Teacher Georcelle was supposedly demanding P150,000 for Sarah to be able to use the choreography of her song at her concert.
While he did not get into details, Matteo remains positive that things would be better for Sarah and Teacher Georcelle in the future.
“It would have been nice to have G-Force rin also but maybe in another time, whatever discussion and little things here and there will be mended kumbaga in the future,” Matteo added.
What would be his last words for Teacher Georcelle?
“Bilog ang mundo, bilog ang showbiz at the end of the day magkatrabaho pa rin tayo, ‘di ba? We just say see you again,” he said.
