“Mga Lihim Ni Urduja” will replace the ongoing “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” which is scheduled to end on February 17, 2023.
Kapuso director Jorron Lee Monroy helms “Mga Lihim Ni Urduja.” His past works are “Ang Dalawang Ikaw,” “Artikulo 247,” and “Bolera.”
The project reunites Padilla, Garcia, and Lopez, who played the Sang’gres Amihan, Alena, and Danaya, respectively in the 2016 reboot of “Encantadia.” Glaiza de Castro, who played Pirena in the reboot, won’t be able to become part of the show as she is busy with the upcoming afternoon series “The Seed of Love.”
However, another Pirena joins the project with returning Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon. Dizon played Pirena in the original “Encantadia” and Adhara in the reboot.
Veteran Kapuso director Dominic Zapata also directed Dizon’s scenes for the show. Dizon returns to GMA Network as a freelance actress after doing “Marry Me, Marry You” in ABS-CBN.
