Michelle Dee of Makati City’s is Miss Universe Philippines 2023!
The coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 was held tonight, May 13, 2022, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
Miss Universe Philippines 2022 titleholder Celeste Cortesi passed the crown to Michelle during the coronation night.
The other titleholders are Pauline Amelincx of Bohol and Krishnah Marie Gravidez of Baguio City. However, they will be crowned in a separate ceremony after the event.
The other two crowns are yet to be announced.
Christine Opiaza of Zambales is first runner-up while Angelique Manto of Pampanga placed second runner-up.
Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd Miss Universe pageant, to be held in 2023 in El Salvador. R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Technical Problems In Miss Universe Philippines 2023
Technical issues hounded the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 pageant. It happened during the evening gown competition.
The names of the Top 10 were already announced prior to the short break.
After the short break, host Xian Lim announced that there were “technical issues” in terms of the scores of the candidates. For this reason, the Top 18 finalists had to come back on stage and go through again the evening gown competition.
Xian said in his announcement: “To everyone watching here tonight and to everyone watching at home via online streaming we have an announcement to make. This is gonna make tonight a little interesting.
“Due to technical issues, we’ve resulted to manual tallying, which means, our Top 18 candidates will go through the evening gown and compete for the Top 5.”
The initial list of the Top 10 finalists has also been scrapped as the competition moved forward to the Top 5 finalists after the evening gown competition.
