  • JJ+E (September 8) ­— Teen romance movie based on a popular Swedish novel Vinterviken.

  • Prey (September 10) — German thriller that follows a group of friends on a wilderness hike.
  • Nightbooks (September 15) — An adaptation of J.A. White’s book about a young boy with a knack for telling scary bedtime stories.

  • The Stronghold (September 17) — French thriller about three Marseille cops on a drug busting operation.

  • Intrusion (September 22) — Psychological thriller about a break-in case in a small town.
  • Je Suis Karl (September 23) — Netflix Original political drama following a terrorist bombing survivor and her involvement in a European youth movement.
  • The Starling (September 24) — Love, loss and the bird in the garden make up the premise of this dramedy starring Melissa McCarthy and Chris O’Dowd.
