K-dramas have a tendency to make us feel a wide range of emotions. It doesn’t matter what the genre is because you’ll probably experience kilig, happiness, sorrow, annoyance, and wonder in just a span of a few episodes.

Despite the genre, you can always bet on K-dramas to be funny. Even the saddest characters will have a couple of scenes we would find funny.

If you’re looking for more on the comedy side, there are K-dramas that really rely on humor. Each of these stories will bring you to wonderful places but most importantly, they will surely make you laugh out loud.

Welcome to Waikiki

Welcome to Waikiki has so many funny scenes that you won’t miss this drama in humor or crack edits on YouTube. The story follows three men who are trying to make ends meet in a guesthouse venture. They get into all kinds of situations that range from funny to embarrassing. The humor can get over-the-top but that’s because this is slapstick comedy. If you want to laugh for sure, then you should check this out.

Chief Kim

Accounting and corporations aren’t humorous in the real world, but they definitely are in Chief Kim. The main character of this drama used to be an accountant for gangs but then he becomes chief of an accounting department. He then gets into situations that make him look like a hero despite being tasked with embezzling money. If you’re a fan of the funny bromance in Goblin, then you will also love this.

The Sound of Your Heart

Another slapstick comedy is The Sound of Your Heart. This one’s a sitcom so you’ll enjoy watching the lives of a cartoonist and his friends and family. Since this is based on Korea’s longest-running webtoon series, you can bet you’re in for a treat.

Mr. Queen

Mr. Queen still has a few episodes left but the whole premise of the story leaves a lot of room for comedy. A modern-day chef falls into a coma and his spirit finds its way into the body of a queen in the Joseon period. Since the queen is now the male chef, the situation she gets herself into and the way she reacts to them make this a funny one.
