Apple TV+ guide: 5 shows to watch if you’re planning on making a streaming app switch

Have you ever felt like switching to another streaming app or felt tempted to subscribe to multiple platforms all at once? Well, we totally get you. Because even though Netflix might make you feel like it’s got everything for you, it doesn’t. The truth is, you’ll most likely run out of shows or movies to choose from.

So yes, it’s totally understandable if you also feel apprehensive about switching from Netflix to another streaming app – or even subscribing to multiple apps all at once. After all, taking a break from reality once in a while by watching great movies or TV shows can be therapeutic. So yes, splurging on quality entertainment is fine.

If you’re bold enough to make the big switch or simply try a new one without letting go of your Netflix subscription, we recommend you to go for tech giant Apple’s streaming service called Apple TV+. We’ve listed down five Apple Originals for you to watch once you decide to make a switch.

The Morning Show

With a stellar ensemble cast led by Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell, The Morning Show is definitely a must-watch. But more than the stars of the show, TMS makes for a great viewing experience as it tackles issues about the realities of a disturbing work environment behind a fictional media giant in the US. Season 2 is on its way, so you better start bingeing on the first one right now!

Dickinson

Ever wondered about the life of the great American poet Emily Dickinson? Well, the historical comedy-drama starring Hailee Steinfeld might just give you an idea. But if you’re thinking it’s going to bore you along the way, we’re telling you right now: nope, not a single bit. Plus, it’s also inspiring to look at how a woman like her stood up to men during her time. The second season of the show just came out earlier this month, so make sure to start catching up on this one right away!

Defending Jacob

If you’re in for a roller coaster ride of emotions, “Defending Jacob” should be on top of your list! The mini-series starring Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, and Jaeden Martell will definitely put a huge weight on your heart. Imagine being the best prosecutor in town but you’re unable to defend your 14-year-old son accused of committing murder. Buckle up your seatbelts and make sure to have a roll of tissue paper by your side before watching this one!

Servant

Are you looking for a psychological horror-thriller series? Well, “Servant” might just be the perfect Apple TV+ show for you! After watching the show, you’d definitely think twice about having a nanny in your home. Or so we think. Oh, and did we mention M. Night Shyamalan. So yes, it’s a must-watch! So far, it already came out with two seasons. And yes, a third one is on the way.

See

Last, but definitely not the least, is the Jason Momoa-starrer “See.” Imagine a civilization from the far future going blind but does whatever it takes to protect their tribe. While it’s a pretty ambitious move for Apple to take on a fantasy show as big as this one, you’d definitely understand why it’s worth the binge once you see how everything seamlessly come together.
