Did You Spot Him? Here Are the Films You’ve Seen LaKeith Stanfield in

You may not be entirely familiar with him but you’ve definitely seen him around in a couple movies. Lakeith Stanfield is a master of disguise and if you don’t play close attention, you just might miss him! From drama to horror, to even murder mystery, Stanfield has steadily become a staple in many Hollywood films.

If you’re curious to see which films he’s been seen in, we’ve got a list just for you.

Straight Outta Compton (2015)

1, 2, 3, and to the 4…is that Snoop Dogg? You got it right, folks. Straight Outta Compton’sSnoop Dogg “cameo” was played by none other than Stanfield himself. He was only seen for a couple scenes, but sure enough he was there. Just look out for the guy with the famous smooth and laid-back voice.

Get Out (2017)

Blink and you might miss him in this terrifying horror/thriller. Stanfield kind of plays two characters here, as a black man amongst a white community. We don’t want to give too much of the plot away, but look real close and get the chills once you’ve realized where you’ve seen him before (in the film, at least).

Uncut Gems (2019)

Adam Sandler’s surprising crime thriller Uncut Gems was also a good example of Stanfield’s diverse acting chops. You can see him in this film acting opposite Sandler’s gambling-addicted character as his right-hand intermediary. Stanfield’s not a total stranger in this film, since he sports almost the same looking hair and facial hair as his other characters.

Someone Great (2019)

Guard your hearts, ladies and gentleman, because this one’s a heartbreaker. Stanfield assumes the role of longtime boyfriend to Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez in this wholehearted comedy about self-discovery and love. While we see him for a pretty good portion of the film, there’s something magical about the way Stanfield acts or looks that makes him seem completely unrecognizable from his other roles.

Knives Out (2019)

Our chameleon actor noticeably gained longer roles as the years went on. In Knives Out, he plays one of two detectives assigned to the mysterious death of the wealthy Harlan Thrombey. In this film, he’s not hard to miss as he’s gotten more screen time, but it’s not nearly as much as we’d want it to be!

This is just a short list of Stanfield’s more famous roles. Catch him in other famous films like Dope, Sorry to Bother You, and Selma.
