A new romance drama is set to be released this coming February and we already know it’s going to sweep us off our feet! “Twenty Five Twenty One” will follow the story of two youths whose dreams have been crushed by the 90s financial crisis. Kim Tae Ri’s character is a fencing athlete while Nam Joo Hyuk’s is an aspiring reporter. They meet in the year 1998 when she is 18 and he is 22 years old. They will eventually fall in love when she is 21 and he is 25 – hence the title of the drama.
Just from the teaser, it seems like the series is already a contender to become a notable healing drama. Since part of the story is set in 1998, the drama has a dream-like and nostalgic quality based on its two teasers.Â

tvN also released a new teaser. In it, we get another glimpse of Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk in the summer when they first met.
“Twenty Five Twenty One” is coming to Netflix on February 12.
