It’s now “laughter they’re after,” and it’s about to cause some serious adjustments as seen in Disney Plus’ first teaser for its upcoming Monster Inc. spinoff series, Monsters At Work.

The streaming site took fans back to Monstropolis as it dropped the trailer on Tuesday. Following the fallout from the first movie, Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) and James Sulley (John Goodman) are now the bosses of Monsters Inc., and they’ve decided to shift their energy source from screams to laughter.

The teaser also introduces a handful of new monsters, at the center is Ben Feldman’s Tylor Tuskmon, a newbie who graduated top of his class at Monsters University only to discover that the factory isn’t hiring scarers anymore. He gets assigned, instead, to the madcap MIFT (Monsters Inc. Facilities Team), a dedicated crew whose job is to attend to any accidents on the former scare floor. Tylor is joined by crazy colleagues Fritz (Henry Winkler), Val Little (Mindy Kaling), Cutter (Alanna Ubach), and Duncan (Lucas Neff).

Some of the old monsters are back too. Bonnie Hunt reprises her role as instructor Ms. Flint, Jennifer Tilly returns as Mike’s snake-haired significant other, Celia, Stephen Stanton steps back into the booth as the squeaky clean-up team of Smitty and Needleman, and Pixar legend John Ratzenberger returns to voice the Abominable Snowman.

Monsters at Work premieres on Disney+ on July 2.
