With stricter quarantine classifications in certain areas in the Philippines, staying in – if possible – is recommended. While hobbies can keep you productive and preoccupied, sometimes it just feels good to sit back, relax, and watch as we try to take a break from everything that’s happening around us.
More than a year has gone by since the Philippines went into lock down, and in that year, some of Netflix’s favorite shows have been renewed and new shows and movies will be up on the platform.
Girl From Nowhere Season 2 – May 7
The hit fantasy thriller from Thailand has a new season and it’s coming very soon to Netflix. Girl from Nowhere follows a mysterious girl as she exposes the misdeeds of the school she transfers to.
LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS Volume 2 – May 14
The collection of shorts called LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS became the favorite of many when the first volume was released back in 2019. Volume 2 is set to drop on Netflix soon so expect eight new episodes of amazing animation and storytelling. Like before, the new episodes will be wildly different from each other but will be exploring themes of love, death, and robots.
Move to Heaven – May 14
It seems as if there’s a new K-Drama on Netflix every month and this time, it’s Move to Heaven. This one looks like a tearjerker as it follows the story of a trauma cleaner with Asperger’s and his ex-con uncle as they uncover the stories left behind by the dead.

Army of the Dead – May 21
Zack Snyder’s zombie thriller, Army of the Dead, will tell the story of a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas. The story includes an interesting cast of characters as they all band together to go on a heist.
Lucifer Season 5 Part 2 – May 28
Fans of Lucifer will be excited to know that part 2 of season 5 will drop on Netflix this month! It won’t be long before you can watch the continuation of this epic season. After season 5, there’s only one last season left of Lucifer.
