Pass the time at home by watching these films on time

More than a year into community quarantine, a lot of people are experiencing pandemic fatigue. Thus, people are trying their best to cope by starting new hobbies or rediscovering old passions. One easy way to pass the time is by going on a movie marathon. Are you done with your movie list already? Well, you can keep yourself entertained in the meantime with these beloved movies about time: 

  1. Back to the Future (1985). Great Scott! This modern classic kicked off one of the most popular trilogies and cultural phenomena in film history. This flick follows Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) as he accidentally found himself in the ’50s after a science experiment instigated by his eccentric friend Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) goes wrong.
  1. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). The wizarding world of JK Rowling has enchanted fans around the world to this day, and the third installment of the saga follows Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and his best friends, Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) as they use time travel to save innocent lives. Plus, who wouldn’t want to rewatch Hermione punching the snooty Draco Malfoy?

  1. The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009). If you’re in the mood for a little romance, look no further than this Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams film. In this flick, a Chicago librarian involuntarily travels through time, appearing through various phases of his one true love’s life.

  1. Interstellar (2014). This Christopher Nolan film finds Cooper (Matthew McConaughey) and Brand (Anne Hathaway) venture out into space to find humans a new planet to live in after the Earth becomes inhabitable. This movie foreshadows the possible future if people don’t act against climate change.

  1. Avengers: End Game (2019). The epic conclusion of phase three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this movie is about how the Avengers assembled once more in hopes to reverse the devastating consequences of Thanos’ finger snap in Avengers: Infinity War.

These are only some of the awesome flicks that revolve around time. Movies are a fantastic way not only to keep yourself entertained but to learn important life lessons about time. After all, there’s no currency more valuable than time.
