Heads up, Upper East Siders. The elite of Constance Billard and St. Judes will finally be back just in time for Thanksgiving, and Gossip Girl spilled all the details. On November 10, we got an alert that HBO Max just posted the part-two trailer for the series in the tune of Ariana Grande’s 7 Rings.
In the voiceover, Kirsten Bell confirms that the drama is far from over. She wasn’t kidding when she said the post wasn’t going to be pretty, as the trailer shows secrets, lies, love triangles, and getting “canceled,” all in two minutes. Of course, there’s also going to be a Thanksgiving episode in your typical Gossip Girl fashion. Here’s a list of things you can do to prepare for the premier.
Revamp Your Wardrobe
We don’t mean go broke shopping for designer items like the super-rich kids of CBSJ. But the end of the year is a good time to purge your closet of items you barely wore in the last six months and replace them with something chic. Never mind if all you can afford is Zara, you can still take notes from the characters from the show.
Do a Digital Detox
Do yourself a favor and do a digital detox. Keeping up with the news and the latest trends can be overwhelming, and you’ll benefit from disconnecting yourself from the online world every so often. While you’re at it, you might also want to curate your feed and block, unfollow, or mute people with who you no longer align.
Catch up with friends
Before all the drama goes down on the show, catch up with friends and let them know about the happenings in your life lately. It might not be as juicy or as scandalous as the developments in Gossip Girl, but it sure would be nice to vent or receive advice from your trusted circle. Let’s just hope none of them secretly hate you and plan to destroy your reputation.
Only a few more days until part two of Gossip Girl is back. It will consist of six new episodes and premiers on November 26 on HBO Max.
